Terror In A Texas Town is a classic cult western about a Swedish whaler that seeks revenge for his father's killing. In a small, Texas oil town, wealthy tycoon Ed McNeill (Sebastian Cabot) has his eyes on each and every plot of land available, and some that aren't. Not letting anything stand in his way, he hires Johnny Crale (Nedrick Young), a one armed gunman, to spread the word about town that McNeill is doing business, ready or not. But when the father of Swedish whaler George Hansen (Sterling Hayden) is killed as a result of the oil baron's strong arm tactics, McNeill and Crale may have just crossed the wrong man. Out for blood, the Swede marches into town, armed with a harpoon, ready for the shootout of his life. Joseph H. Lewis directs this low budget affair considered by many to be the best B-western of all time.
