Tex Rides with the Boy Scouts is an action-packed, western style film about honor, intrigue, and gold. Tex (Tex Ritter) is after a gang of train robbers who have purloined an entire shipment of gold on its way east. Following a lead from a Boy Scout troop who are camped out nearby, Tex makes his way to an old mine, where he suspects Dorman (Charles King) and his gang may be hiding the stolen ore. He continues to work closely with the troop, soon discovering that their laundry man may be in on the scheme. Unfortunately, Dorman and his henchmen soon discover that Tex is closing in on their operation, and they attempt to escape with their prize. With the help of the Boy Scouts, Tex and his friends, Stubby and Pee Wee (Horace Murphy and 'Snub' Pollard) move to apprehend the gang and recover the U.S. Mint's one million in gold.
