The 24 Hour Woman depicts the life of Grace Santos (Rosie Perez), a working mother who is struggling to create harmony between her family life and professional career. This film takes a look at the down-to-earth issues that plague many adults who are toiling through their daily routine in an attempt to fashion a better life for themselves and their children. It is interesting to see how Grace manages to deal with her overbearing and despicable boss, Patty Lupone (Alicia Renee Washington). This 1999 comedy also narrates the similar life of Madeline Labelle (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), who is also trying to cope with the demands of work and children. Her supervisor happens to be the protagonist Grace Santos.
