The 3 Worlds of Gulliver is a fantasy film directed by Jack Sher, based on Jonathan Swift’s infamous Gulliver’s Travels centering on Dr. Lemuel Gulliver (Kerwin Mathews) who finds himself swept overboard and washed ashore on the strange lands of Lilliput, a place where Gulliver’s average human size is gigantic to the tiny human beings residing there. Though kind to the Lilliputians, his help in their neighboring war highlights his potential threat to the Emperor (Basil Sydney). Gulliver escapes and finds himself on Brobdingnag, an island complete opposite of Lilliput where Gulliver is now almost doll-like compared to the giants there. He finds his fiancée Elizabeth (June Thorburn) there, but their peaceful state is threatened when his medical knowledge is thought of as witchcraft. Just what type of people will Gulliver and Elizabeth find next in their escape? The 3 Worlds of Gulliver is an imaginative fantastical world where stop-motion and visual effects mastermind Ray Harryhausen utilizes his talents to entertain all ages.moreless
