The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock is a satirical comedy made in 1959 response to the hit, The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. An inventor and junk collector, Artie Pinsetter (Lou Costello) is prohibited from seeing his girlfriend, Emmy Lou Rossiter (Dorothy Provine), by her over protective aunt. When Artie picks up some items from Emmy Lou's home, Emmy sneaks aboard his truck and hides. When Artie arrives at the Dinosaur State Park, Emmy pops out and surprises him and asks Artie to marry her. Knowing she is off-limits, Artie declines. A disappointed Emmy storms off to a nearby cave where she takes a swim in a hidden lake known as Dinosaur Springs. When she comes out of the cave, she has transformed into a 30 foot tall woman! Artie's latest invention is a time travelling rocket ship that he hopes can save his love and allow him to earn the respect of her family. To learn if it all works out, watch The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock.moreless
