The accidental spy is a 2001 movie that follows the life of a salesman at a workout equipment store named Buck (Jackie Chan). He dreams of a life full of adventure, and it comes true when he follows two suspicious looking men. It turns out that the two men had plans of robbing a jewelry store, but Buck foils it before they can. Later in the movie, Buck meets a private investigator by the name of Liu (Eric Tsang) who thinks that he is the son of a rich Korean business man. Buck journeys to Korea and even Turkey in search of his father, but he soon realizes that the he plays a key role in finding a key drug for lung cancer. He partners up with a beautiful journalist named Carmen (Kim Min-Jeong), and the two must find the elusive drug before it falls into the wrong hands. Teddy Chan directs this action comedy.
