The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland is a children’s movie, based on the popular PBS Kid’s series, Sesame Street. Elmo (Kevin Clash), one of viewers’ favorites from Sesame Street, finds himself in Grouchland when he dives into Oscar the Grouch’s trash can to retrieve his beloved blue blanket. Oscar is not there, but before Elmo can turn to go, both he and his blanket are sucked up by a rainbow vortex and swept away to Grouchland. There a greedy Grouch named Huxley (Mandy Patinkin) steals his blanket and runs off. From then on, Elmo has a single goal in mind: to track down and recover his blanket. Luckily, he has the help of some friends along the way, including a new friend, a girl named Grizzy (Stephanie D’Abruzzo). During his adventures, he learns what is really important in life, including the true value of friendship. The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland is a great movie for all the kids who make up Sesame Street’s loyal following.moreless
