  • The jewel of this dark era and up to the standards of a Disney classic

(Sadly I couldn't review Melody Time "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" is the sixth and final of these package films and is without a doubt the best of them. Out of all of the films this era, "Ichabod and Mr. Toad" is the only one that is up to the standards of one of Walt's classics like "Snow White" and "Bambi". This is a great film. "The Wind in the Willows" is a lot of fun to watch and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is a classic short and is the treasure of this era. The animation in both shorts is also gorgeous and the whole feature is just great to watch. I have full confidence in saying that "Ichabod and Mr. Toad" is Disney's best film since "Dumbo" and I couldn't imagine a better ending to this era.moreless
