The Adventures of Milo and Otis is a live action children's film featuring a mischievous orange kitten named Milo and a pug puppy named Otis. Beginning on a small rural farm the two animals grow and play together, forging unbreakable bonds and sharing a lifetime of friendship. When Milo is accidentally swept downstream in a cardboard box Otis follows, beginning an epic adventure for the two friends. The two friends will face threats from bears, foxes, gulls and owls while meeting strange allies across myriad species as the pair cross the wilderness and overcome numerous hardships before reuniting. Even as the pair eventually forge their own litters and families, the friendship between them endures through successive generations and through the very end. Filmed over the course of four years by director and zoologist Masanori Hata and narrated by Dudley Moore, The Adventures of Milo and Otis is a heartwarming tale of life, death, loyalty and friendship in the face of adversity told through amazing sequences of nature photography.moreless
