The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle finds our titular heroes in a bad situation. Their cartoon, The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, has been cancelled for more than 30 years, and they have to live off of the royalties from the show's reruns. Deforestation has destroyed their former home of Frostbite Falls, and Rocky can no longer fly. The pair's arch enemies have fared no better, however. Fearless Leader (Robert De Niro), and his most trusted cohorts Boris (Jason Alexander) and Natasha (Rene Russo), have lost control of Pottsylvania. The villains convince a Hollywood film executive, Minnie Mogul (Janeane Garofalo), to take the rights to the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie, which brings the trio into the real world as human beings. Together, they plot to brainwash America with their new project, RBTV, or Really Bad Television. Now Rocky and Bullwinkle must once again stop the treacherous trio, with the help of FBI agent Karen Sympathy (Piper Perabo), before it's too late.
