The Animal is a 2001 comedy directed by Luke Greenfield. In the film, Marvin (Rob Schneider) is a wimpy man who lives in a garage and desperately wants to follow in his dad's footsteps and become a police officer. Unfortunately for Marvin, he cannot pass the fitness test to be accepted into the police academy. The closest Marvin can get to his dream job is working in the evidence room at the police station. A freak accident lands Marvin in the makeshift hospital of Dr. Wilder (Michael Wilson). The strange doctor patches Marvin up and returns him to his home. Marvin has no memories of his accident or the doctor who put him back together. After arriving home, Marvin notices some major changes in his physical abilities, but attributes them to a health supplement he has just begun taking. Did Dr. Wilder's surgical procedures enhance Marvin's abilities or is his increased physical strength due to the health supplements he is taking?moreless
