The Arizona Cowboy stars legendary cowboy actor Rex Allen as a singing, rodeo riding cowboy of the same name. Rex (Rex Allen), during a visit with his old friend Colonel Shawnee Jefferson (Joseph Crehan), learns that his father, Ace Allen (John Elliott), is accused of stealing $50,000 from the Dusty Acres Irrigation Company and is nowhere to be found. Rex quickly learns the identity of the true thief, Hugh Davenport (James Cardwell), and devises a plan to clear his father's name and put an end to the villainous Davenport's schemes. A member of the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame, Rex Allen is also hailed as a Disney Legend, having starred in many Disney westerns and lending his voice to the "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" television series. The Arizona Cowboy marks the first movie in this legend's career, and should not be missed if you are a fan of classic Disney-style westerns.
