The Baby's Room is a supernatural horror film directed by Alex de la Iglesia that centers on Juan (Javier Gutierrez) as he struggles to deal with his new status as father, husband to a devoted Sonia (Leonor Watling), and homeowner to an old house in need of repairs. Life seems perfect until one night the new parents hear voices coming through the child monitor. First chalked up to radio interference since no one's in the room, it becomes clear to at least the anxious Juan that something is going on, pushing him to install not only an alarm system but a video monitor to potentially catch whomever is sneaking into his baby's room. As the unknown changes from voices to actual shadowy figures, Juan's desire to protect his family tears apart his family and job. He slowly delves into paranoia while fearing for his sanity. The film questions the viewers to decide whether the events are a result of the pressure of family life or if there truly is something waiting there by the baby's crib.moreless
