Movie Summary

David DeFalco
Released:
2001
Rating:

The Back Lot Murders is a 2002 satirical horror film directed by David Defalco. It was a straight to video release. It follows a rock band right on the brink of stardom. However the band has kicked out one of their members right before they got a big record deal (through the girlfriend of the father of the lead singer who owns a record label). Regardless the band has moved forward and now is shooting its very first music video on the back lot of a world famous movie studio. However their excitement soon turns to horror when they realize a psychotic killer is loose on the back lot and wants to kill them all! Who is this mysterious killer? The answer may be obvious, but keep watching, nonetheless! The film features many kills, such as a slit throat, a stabbed back, impalements on spiked wooden poles, a slashed face, an axed stomach, buzz saw blades in the chest, and two people getting impaled with the same spear!moreless
