The Barefoot Executive is a 1971 live-action family comedy film from Walt Disney Productions, directed by Robert Butler and starring Kurt Russell, Joe Flynn, Wally Cox, Heather North, John Ritter, and Harry Morgan. Steven Post (Kurt Russell) is an ambitious mailroom clerk at the fictional U BC Network. When he discovers that his girlfriend Jennifer Scott's (Heather North) pet chimpanzee somehow has the ability to accurately predict which television shows will receive high ratings, he knows that his lucky break has finally arrived. Pretending that the chimp's abilities are his own, Post soon rises up the corporate ladder at UBC Network and soon finds himself as vice president of the entire network! Great, right? Maybe not'some of Post's coworkers are jealous that such a young man could achieve such tremendous success so quickly and, especially after Post is mistakenly identified as president of the network, can't wait to figure out how to make him fall down the ladder. Will Post be able to keep it all together? Or will everything go to the apes (er, chimps)? The Barefoot Executive is 96 minutes of family friendly fun!moreless
