The Big Bad Swim is a film that brings a small group of adults together for a swim class. Laced with sexual innuendos and mannerisms, this satire aims to provide comic relief through the struggles of these men and women who are enrolled in the class. Each struggling with their own heartbreaks and failed relationships, they must learn to take life one step at a time in an attempt to emerge better and happier people. The movie goes delves into the intricate details of the personal and professional lives of the members of the class, some of whom include teachers, policemen, and college students. They are all brought together in their desire to learn how to swim and set out to conquer their fear of the water. Set in Conneticut, this independent film was featured at the 2006 Moving Picture Festival in Birmingham, Alabama.
