The Big Boodle is a crime thriller that has twists and turns to keep viewers guessing throughout the movie. Ned Sherwood (Errol Flynn) is a blackjack dealer in a Cuban casino, whose good life quickly turns bad when a female patron slips him some counterfeit pesos. He accuses the woman but she denies everything and quickly leaves the casino letting him stuck with the counterfeit money. On his way home that evening, his is beaten by two men who were trying to steal the fake money. He is now left with no job and is under police surveillance because they believe he made the fake money. A woman named, Anita Ferrer (Gia Scola), confronts Ned and tries to buy the bills and the plates that made them. When he denies knowing anything about it, so she takes him to her father, who is president of the Bank of Cuba. While there he discovers that the other daughter, Fina (Rossana Rory) was the woman from the casino. He keeps her secret and the two of them try to find evidence to clear Ned's name. They end up fall in love along the way. The evidence they find will point to someone closer than they ever thought.moreless
