The Big Lebowski is the story of Jeff Lebowski, nickname "The Dude" (Jeff Bridges), a bowling loving slacker whose simple life gets turned upside down when he is mistaken for a millionaire who's trophy wife is being held for ransom. The Dude's situation only gets worse when his volatile friend and bowling buddy Walter (John Goodman) gets involved. Written and directed by the Coen brothers, this comedy has gained a cult following over the years. With an eclectic soundtrack, memorable characters like bowling arch rival "The Jesus" (John Turturro) and classic quotes like "the dude abides", The Big Lebowski is a must-see comedy.

    The Big Lebowski, unlike some movies *cough* Avatar *cough* deserves the hype it has gotten. Jeff Bridges and John Goodman deliver Oscar worthy performances, and this is one movie that makes laugh and feel good
