The Big Score is a 1983 crime drama written by Gail Morgan Hickman and directed by Fred Williamson. Chicago police detective Frank Hooks, (Fred Williamson) matches wits with a dealer named Goldie (Michael Dante). Hooks earns an early victory by busting Goldie on a minor offense, however Goldie gets out of jail on a technicality. Frank then receives a tip that a $100 million drug deal is going down. Hooks and his partners Davis and Gordon (John Saxon and Richard Roundtree) foil the big deal, but Goldie escapes with the chase. After a chase and a shoot-out Goldie is killed, but the money goes missing. All eyes turn to Hooks as the thief. Now both the police and the drug gang are after Hooks. When Hooks' girlfriend's, Angie (Nancy Wilson), cat is brutally murdered the gloves come off. Will Hooks be able to stay alive long enough to find the money and clear his name?
