The Big Squeeze is a dramatic comedy directed by Marcus de Leon. Benny (Peter Dobson) makes his living by scamming others. After being caught with one too many cards in his hand, he is kicked off a train and wanders into a bar. He meets Tanya (Laura Flynn Boyle), the establishment's bartender, and Benny immediately shows a romantic interest in her. Unhappily married to her husband Henry (Luca Bercovici), Tanya has been struggling to make ends meet since he was injured in a car accident and unable to work. After looking through the mail one day, she is stunned to learn that Henry has been hiding his insurance settlement from her. He refuses to give her access to the settlement, so she teams up with Benny to devise a scheme to get her fair share of the money. The duo can only hope for a miracle as they work together to give Tanya the financial security that she deserves.
