The Bloody Judge is a erotic horror depiction of the life and exploits of Lord Chief Justice Jeffreys in England in the late 1700s. The year is 1685, and with the notoriously sinister Lord George Jeffreys (Christopher Lee) governing over justice throughout the land, heinous, ruthless punishments are frequently doled out. After Alicia Gray (Margaret Lee) is convicted of witchcraft and the young woman is burned at the stake, and her sister Mary (Maria Rohm) is immediately suspected of the same crimes. Matters are complicated further when Mary becomes involved with Harry Selton (Hans Hass Jr.), a man whose outspoken criticism of King James II does not land him in good favor with Justice Jeffreys, who often resorts to claims of witchcraft to defend the crown. When he learns of Mary and Harry's romance, the evil Lord sends men to apprehend Mary, who submits to his sexual desires in order to save her beloved. But with the beautiful young Mary's allure and Harry starting a revolution against the crown, Lord Jeffreys' fate could be in question. Jesus Franco directs this very racy film, known for its explicit depiction of sexual rituals.moreless
