The Breakup Artist is a romantic comedy which examines relationships from the unusual view of the alpha male. Jim (Joseph Lyle Turner) is a man heading towards middle age without ever having had a serious relationship in his life. He's a definite Romeo and has no trouble meeting women, but none of his relationships seem to last more than 6 months. He has developed the skill of breaking up to an art form, but what he really wants more than anything is to find a woman who he can really love. He looks for answers from his family, friends and even his priest, but just can't seem to find the answer he is looking for. Then he meets his gorgeous neighbor and begins to think that he may, quite possibly, be able to make the transition from a guy who can write a breakup speech in minutes, to a man who can speak from the heart.
