The Breed is a 2006 horror film starring Michelle Rodriguez and Eric Lively in a story about five college friends who travel to a deserted island to party for a weekend. On the island, they discover a series of bizarre incidents involving a large pack of wild dogs living on the island. The vicious animals may have once been man's best friend, but now they're man's worst enemy. What should have been a wild party quickly turns into a fight for survival against the evil canines. The five friends will have to work together to survive against the dogs that greatly outnumber them. This film marks Nick Mastandrea's debut as director after proving his eye for horror as an assistant director to Wes Craven. Oliver Hudson, Taryn Manning, and Hill Harper round out the cast in this bloody and terrifying film. The Breed takes the household pets we all love and turns them into bloodthirsty killing machines.
