The Cabinet of Caligari is a 1962 thriller directed by Roger Kay. One night, beautiful Jane Lindstrom (Glynis Johns) is stranded when her tire blows out on a deserted country road. She walks to a nearby mansion to get help, and meets the owner, Calgari (Dan O'Herlihy), who is a well-mannered German man who insists that she spend the night. When she wakes up the next morning, she finds that Calgari has locked her inside the mansion and will not let her out. There are other eternal "guests" in the mansion as well, including Paul (Dan O'Herlihy), Mark (Dick Davalos), and Ruth (Estelle Winwood). After discovering the sinister reason that Calgari is keeping them all imprisoned, Jane must try to get out using the only method that she has left. This classic horror movie has a jaw-dropping twist ending that will make its viewers rush to watch it a second time.
