The Capture of Bigfoot is the 1979 exploration of one of the great urban legends. After a number of unexplained murders occur in Wisconsin, a team of hunters go looking for the mysterious creature that they believe is behind it, Bigfoot. They come up with a strategy. They set out to capture the newly discovered Little Bigfoot (Randolph Rebane), Bigfoot's son, and use the child to lure the father in. A local businessman, Olsen (Richard Kennedy), throws a wrench into the plans when he tries to take possession of the creature to put on display for a profit. Hardened hunter Jake (George "Buck" Flower) leads the expedition into the frozen wilderness. The party hits a snag when one hunter is severely injured, and the hunting party's efforts may come to nothing when it seems like they themselves might be the hunted. That to say, the urban legend proves to be more than a legend, and the monster has finally exposed itself to humanity.moreless
