The Color Of Night is a 1994 thriller, centering on Dr. Bill Capa (Bruce Willis), a respected psychologist. Capa enjoys his line of work, but tragedy strikes when one of Capa's patients, Michelle (Kathleen Wilhoite), unexpectedly commits suicide in his office. The experience stuns Capa and leaves him profoundly shaken, suffering psychosomatic color-blindness. Unable to see the color red, Capa leaves New York for Los Angeles, attempting to restart his life and heal the past. He seeks the help of a fellow therapist, Dr. Bob Moore (Scott Bakula). Capa's bad luck is not over yet, however. Soon after Capa's arrival, Dr. Moore is found brutally murdered in his office. Capa tries to unravel the mystery of his friend's death while at the same time tending to the therapy group that Dr. Moore left behind. Capa also begins an affair with a beautiful girl, Rose (Jane March), who drifts in and out of his life without explanation. When members of the therapy group begin to die off, Capa knows he has to find a way to end the cycle of destruction that haunts his life.
