The Comebacks Uncut is a comedy film that follows the story of a football coach trying to redeem himself. Coach Lambeau Fields (David Koechner) is known as one of the worst coaches in sports history. His friend, Freddie Wiseman (Carl Weathers), convinces him to return to the football field for one last shot at coaching. Promising his wife, Barb (Melora Hardin), that he will not ignore their family, Coach Fields and his family move to Plainfolk, Texas where he takes the job as coach of the Heartland State University football team. It soon become apparent to Coach Fields that his new team is a group of misfits, many of whom do not know anything about football. Using his unorthodox techniques, Coach Fields is able to turn his players into a respectable team. The football team is about to face off against their strongest opponent, the Lone Star State Unbeatables. Will Heartland State be able to use the techniques Coach Fields has taught them and win the game or will they falter under pressure? This Uncut version features deleted scenes, director's commentary, and a variety of short featurettes.moreless
