The Dalton Girls is the 1957 classic Western in which the Dalton sisters, led by their oldest sister Holly (Merry Anders), begin robbing banks and holding up stagecoaches in order to pursue fortune and adventure. Their brothers are killed unjustly by the law, and the Dalton girls no longer feel any measure of responsibility to society. Unfortunately, this results in a few unintended murders and a measure of backstabbing and distrust within the family. Rose Dalton (Lisa Davis) turns out to be the most cold-blooded among them and immerses them further and further in a world of crime. Worse yet, the law is pursuing them. Holly's adventures come to a crashing halt when Holly's sister Columbine (Penny Edwards) falls in love with a suave gambler, Illinois Grey (John Russell). It's at that point that all the adventure and the family unity are up in the air for Columbine, as she starts to have other dreams.
