The Dancing Masters is a 1943 comedy film starring actors and comedians Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. When Stan and Ollie meet a young inventor, he tells them he is trying to sell the plans for his invention in order to impress his girlfriend's father. The two decide to help him sell his idea to a company. To market the idea, the two dress in drag and use their dance company and dancing skills to put on a show that advertises the invention. However, Stan and Ollie soon find themselves caught up in insurance fraud. Ollie and Stan find themselves in a variety of hilarious and odd situations as they try to figure out how to get themselves and their dance company out of trouble before the racketeers in charge of the insurance fraud scam decide to skip out with the money, leaving Stand and Ollie to take responsibility for the crime.
