Dream Team is a 1989 comedy co-written by Jon Connolly and David Loucka. It is directed by Howard Zieff. Dr. Weitzman (Dennis Boutsikaris) is a psychiatrist working with a group of four patients staying at a mental health hospital. The doctor decides that one of his therapy groups needs to get out. He arranges a trip into New York City to see a baseball game. When the group takes a pit stop, the doctor is forced to use an alley. There he witnesses a mafia crime and is beaten into unconsciousness. His patients are then forced to fend for themselves. Billy (Michael Keaton) is delusional, Henry (Christopher Lloyd) believes he is a doctor, Albert (Stephen Furst) suffers from anxiety and Jack (Peter Boyle) is a business executive who believes he communicates with Jesus. Together the must navigate the city, figure out what happened to their doctor while avoiding the police and mafia.
