The Eleventh Commandment is a 1987 slasher film directed by Paul Leder. For many years, Robert Knight (Bernard White) has been unjustly locked in a mental asylum due to the scheming of his evil Uncle Charles (Dick Sargent), who killed his brothers and took control of the family's stock shares. One day, Robert manages to sneak out of the asylum with a knife and heads off on a quest to kill Charles. Before he murders his uncle, Robert abducts his favorite young cousin Deborah (Lauren Woodland) from her ballet class. He spends some time with her to ensure that she will have good memories of him, and then heads to the Knight family reunion to find Charles. He will not let anybody stand in the way of his revenge, which Robert believes to be God's eleventh commandment. Meanwhile, Charles and the rest of the family frantically try to find Robert so that they can put him back into the asylum.
