The Fat Spy is a 1966 comedy directed by Joseph Cates. In the film, a teenage boy band and its groupies are heading to a presumably deserted island to have fun and take part in a scavenger hunt. However, the island is not deserted, an awkward botanist, Irving (Jack E. Leonard), lives on the island and works for the wealthy businessman, Wellington (Brian Donlevy), who owns the island. Wellington is not happy about the uninvited guests, because of the rumors that surround his island, he fears the teenagers are not just there to party. To help Irving get rid of the teenagers, Wellington sends his beautiful daughter, Junior (Jayne Mansfield), to the island for back-up. Meanwhile, Irving's identical twin brother, Herman (Jack E. Leonard), is also on the way to the island with his girlfriend, Camille Salamander (Phyllis Diller). Can Irving and Junior get rid of the teenagers quickly enough to please Mr. Wellington?
