The First Time is a comedy about three teenage American boys who want to lose their virginity during a summer in upstate New York. At the beginning of the movie, one of these boys, Kenny (Wes Stern), is staying with his grandparents in Buffalo, New York. Out of boredom, he writes a letter to his friends, Mike Decker (Ricky Kelman) and Tommy Kingsley (Wink Roberts), claiming that he frequents a bordello called "Rosie's" in Niagara Falls. The two friends, who were at summer camp, decide that they would rather be visiting the whorehouse with Kenny, so they surprise him in Buffalo. The trio crosses the border into Canada, but because Kenny's bordello is fictional, he just leads them aimlessly around Toronto. At a go-go bar, they meet Anna (Jacqueline Bisset), who says that she needs help crossing the border into the United States. The boys agree, mistakenly assuming that she is a prostitute and that she will have sex with them after they bring her south of the border. The movie proceeds with their antics as they try to get her into the United States, unaware of their mistake.moreless
