The Flight That Disappeared is a science fiction thriller exploring the morality of nuclear warfare during the Cold War era. The film opens with three nuclear scientists traveling to the Pentagon to discuss a nuclear bomb that they have created. While flying to Washington D.C., their plane suddenly hurtles through the atmosphere into space, leaving all but the three scientists unconscious. The plane comes to rest and the trio find themselves the unwilling defendants in a trial presided over by a mysterious, fog-shrouded alien. The three are charged with crimes against humanity and plotting the destruction of the planet Earth. They are soon found guilty and sentenced to an eternity of being frozen in time. When another alien being intervenes and returns the scientists to Earth, it is up to them to stop the disaster they have set in motion before it is too late. The film was directed by Reginald Le Borg and features Craig Hill, Paula Raymond, and Dayton Lummis as the three scientists.moreless
