The Football Factory is a 2004 English drama starring Danny Dyer, Roland Manookian, and Neil Maskell in a story about a football hooligan who in his mid-20s begins to question how long he can keep up this lifestyle that seems destined to kill him. Dyer plays Tommy Johnson, a man who has been a passionate supporter of Chelsea all his life. His daily routine consists of running around with his gang of Chelsea fans, drinking in the bars, avidly watching the games, and getting into fights with rival gangs. Tommy begins to wonder how long he can keep this life up, as a new generation of football fans begins pushing Tommy out the door. His loyalty is put to the test when he accidentally triggers a bloody feud with a gang of Millwall supporters, putting him and his friends at constant risk of a violent attack. The Football Factory is written and directed by Nick Love and based on the novel of the same name by John King.moreless
