The Forbidden Dance is the sultry 1990 musical dance romance that fires up the screen with its incredible scenes of Latin Lambada, directed by Greydon Clark. Nisa (Laura Herring, Mulholland Drive, Willard) and her Amazon jungle tribe are in danger of being displaced by a ruthless corporation headhunter named Benjamin Maxwell (Richard Lynch, Bad Dreams, Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge, Rob Zombie's Halloween) who wants to slash and burn their land for greedy purposes. Rather than give in Nisa, speaking English and knowing the 'White Man's ways, opts to journey to American to appeal to Petramco Corporation's head quarters' chairman to leave them in peace, her shaman Joa (Sid Haig, Spider Baby, House of 1000 Corpses) in tow. They encounter enough opposition to where Nisa finds herself wandering the streets homeless and with no hope. She is taken in as a maid to a rich couple whose son Jason (Jeff James) takes an immediate shine to her ' especially when he sees her dancing a strange and sultry dance in her room ' which begins a road the two will travel on which will win Nisa control of her lands!moreless
