Rating:
PG

The Four Seasons is a romantic comedy film that centers on three couples who join each other on a vacation each season of the year. When they get together, they discuss their relationships and events that have gone on since they have last seen each other. Jack Borroughs (Alan Alda) is a lawyer, who at times can be judgmental. He is married to Kate (Carol Burnett), an editor for a magazine, and although the couple is happy, Kate suspects her husband of wanting to be admired by younger women. Nick Callan (Len Cariou) is an insurance salesman who gets bored of his wife, Anne (Sandy Dennis), and decides to divorce her. He begins bringing a younger woman, Ginny (Bess Armstrong), to the seasonal vacations. Danny Simmer (Jack Weston) is a dentist who fears death because he is getting older. He is married to Claudia (Rita Moreno), a painter who is the most outspoken of the group. Together, these individuals show viewers what true friendship really is about.
