The Fuzzy Pink Nightgown is a comedy film that centers around Laurel Stevens (Jane Russell), an actress whose new film about a kidnapped bride has just been released. Dandy (Keenan Wynn) and Mike (Ralph Meeker) are two crooks who take the concept of Laurel's new film, using it to kidnap her and take her to a hideout in Malibu. Meanwhile, Laurel's agent, Barney (Robert Harris), studio executive Arthur Martin (Adolphe Menju) and gossip columnist Daisy Parker (Benay Venuta) begin to wonder where Laurel has gone, but they do not call the police, in order to avoid a scandal. Laurel also worries that the kidnapping could appear as a publicity stunt, something that could hurt her career. Mike and Dandy make a ransom request of $50,000 to the studio Laurel works for. Eventually, the studio does go the police and they offer a $100,000 reward for any information regarding Laurel's disappearance. However, a series of events occur, making Laurel wonder if she even wants to be found.moreless
