The Goebbels Experiment is a 2005 documentary directed by Lutz Hachmeister and details the life a high-ranking Nazi official named Joseph Goebbels (Kenneth Branagh). This film shows the many sides of Joseph Goebbels including his personal life from childhood to adulthood and his work within the Nazi party. In the film, Joseph is a mastermind of media propaganda, and he works tirelessly to convince the German people that Adolph Hitler is the right man to run the country. He has the ability to persuade many Germans to believe in Hitler and his plan through manipulation and twisting the truth. He never gives up this fight despite his bouts of depression and dramatic mood swings. Joseph remains loyal to Hitler and his admiration for him only seems to grow as thing worsen for the Nazi regime. Many of the details for this documentary are taken directly out of Joseph's detailed dairies that he kept from 1924 to 1945.
