The Golden Voyage of Sinbad is a 1973 fantasy film starring John Phillip Law as Sinbad, the mythical hero of the high seas. One day while sailing a strange flying creature drops a golden tablet near Sinbad's ship. He takes it an wears it around his neck. Soon after, Sinbad begins experiencing unsettling dreams and mysterious events. Sinbad keeps the tablet, but learns there are dangerous man who will kill to take it from him. After discovering that the tablet is one piece of a puzzle that could lead him to untold riches and eternal youth, Sinbad embarks on a journey to claim the treasure. Sinbad's journey is filled with fantastical creatures, clever allies, and haunting villains. He'll have to survive exciting chases, surprise attacks, and dangerous duels if he's going to live to claim the fortune. Tom Baker co-stars as Koura, an evil magician who needs the amulet for his own terrible plans. The Golden Voyage of Sinbad is a classic adventure movie and the second of three Sinbad films produced by Ray Harryhausen.moreless
