Five con artists descend upon Eldora, Iowa seeking a hiding place and money to continue on their way to the west coast. Devising a scheme to convince the locals that they're going to produce a major motion picture in Eldora, the five con artists are shocked to discover an elderly woman named Helga hiding in the back of the van they've just stolen. However, the elderly woman is no sweet old grandmother. Hearing about the scheme the others have hatched, Helga demands to be included in the con and the game is on. As the con artists and Helga make their way through town, finding locals to take the bait, everything seems to be all set for a big payday -- until Helga changes her mind. This movie was filmed entirely in Eldora, Iowa using local and regional actors and crew. Music by Brian Hagedon and John Farmer.
