The Hanged Man is a thriller written by Glen B Hopper III, and directed by Neil H. Weiss. The film concerns a group of depressed outcasts who decide in a suicide chat room to all end their lives together. They meet at an abandoned barn but when one member of the group doesn't show up, and people begin dying, they know that one member of the group hasn't been completely honest. They begin to learn more about each other and chip away at the anonymity that they had over the web. The six characters all represent different cards of a Tarot deck, such as SoCo (Adam Hatley) who represents "The Hanged Man," a card that represents sacrifice and life in suspension. The characters begin to realize that there might be something to live for, but now it might be too late. The Hanged Man debuted at the Indie Memphis Film Festival in 2007.
