The Hawk of Powder River is a motion picture starring Eddie Dean, Roscoe Ates, and White Cloud. Vivian Chambers (Jennifer Holt), better known as the Hawk, leads a ruthless band of outlaws as they pillage and murder their way across the newly acquired western frontier of the USA. The Hawk casts her sights on the Chamber's ranch and sets out to murder the few remaining people who can call themselves its rightful owners. After taking the life of Bill Chambers (Steve Clark), the only one who remains is his daughter. The gang plans on doing away with her when she arrives shortly after by stage-coach. Luckily for her, Deputy Marshall Eddie Dean (Eddie Dean), is vehemently determined to put an end to the carnage and foils their attempt to do so. From this point, on he works tirelessly to bring this gang of thugs to justice. Although he has the law on his side, he is outnumbered and outgunned in this 1948 western film.moreless
