Rating:
PG-13
The Heavenly Kid is comedy about a young greaser named Bobby Fantana (Lewis Smith), who is killed in a car crash. He ascends to heaven, but finds out that he can't get in unless he gets back down to Earth and performs one good deed. He is settled with the mission of turning an absolute nerd, Lenny Barnes (Jason Gedrick), into an irresistible ladies' man. Lenny requires a lot of work, however. He is a straight-A student, but is constantly bullied in school and made fun of at school. Bobby becomes his guardian angel and attempts to change things. He helps Lenny deal with his bullying problem and coaches him in the proper techniques of wooing a girl. With Bobby's help, Lenny wins the affection of the prettiest girl in school, Sharon (Anne Sawyer) and feels like he's on top of the world. Bobby gets ready to leave, seeing that his mission is complete, but a stunning revelation forces him to stay on Earth for just a little bit longer.moreless
