The Highwayman is a 2000 American film directed by Keoni Waxman and starring Stephen McHattie, Laura Harris, and Jason Priestley. The dark comedy tells the story of Breakfast (Priesteley), a jewelry store thief who is borderline psychotic. Breakfast and Panda (Bernie Coulson), his accomplice, steal thousands of dollars from a store thanks to a tip from their friend and store cashier Ziggy (Harris). The duo then leave town with Ziggy in town, for she hopes to meet her long-lost father Francis. Breakfast has ulterior motives, however, and will take the two on a crazed rampage in his quest to even the score with a former boss. The death toll rises and things start to heat up romantically as Breakfast's plan leads them on an epic chase from the police. The Highwayman also stars Gordon Michael Woolvett, Peter Keleghan, Michael George, and Louis Gossett Jr.
