The Hills Have Eyes 2 is the cult sequel to the original 1977 shocker from famed horror maestro Wes Craven (A Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, The Serpent and the Rainbow, The People Under the Stairs, Last House on the Left, The Hills Have Eyes). It has been eight years since the Carter Family met the cannibalistic hill-dwelling clan in the California desert with disastrous results. Bobby Carter (Robert Houston), young survivor of the ordeal, is now a chemist about to test a new supercharging fuel out in the desert with a group of motorcycle racers but cannot get over his lingering fears of the desert enough to join the group, despite the urgings of his psychiatrist. Come the big day, he stays behind but sends, in his place, his partner and girl Rachel (Janus Blythe, Eaten Alive) who accompanies the racers on a bus out to the site. No sooner are they out there that their bus breaks down and they are set upon by the cannibalistic cabal, now led by fearsome hulk Reaper, Papa Jupiter's monstrous brother who has taken over the clan.
