The Hollywood Knights is a 1980 American comedy, starring Tony Danza, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Fran Drescher. The Hollywood Knights takes place in 1965 in Beverly Hills. Halloween is the last night that a drive-in which some teenagers, who call themselves the Hollywood Knights, frequent will be open. The drive-in is closed because local snobs, who do not like the Hollywood Knights, purposely close the drive-in to get rid of the group. The Hollywood Knights are not planning on taking the offence sitting down, and decide to make the most of their last night, while simultaneously getting back at those responsible for the closing of the drive-in. The night gets pretty exciting, especially since one member is headed to Vietnam, one member is having girlfriend problems, and some new pledges must perform some daring initiation tasks. With its laid-back humor and Beverly Hills glamour, The Hollywood Knights became a cult comedy and put its stars on the map.
