The Horror Show, AKA House III, is a 1989 horror film directed by James Isaac. The film follows the Detective Lucas McCarthy (played by Lance Henriksen) who has finally caught the mass murderer known as Meat Cleaver Max (played by Brion James). Max is sentenced to death by electric chair. However as he gets electrocuted Max turns instead a free floating supernatural being as opposed to dying and is now unstoppable. Now an evil ghost, Max is haunting Lucas's house and family. No one believes Lucas though, so with his sanity in question he must turn to a disreputable college professor to help him out. Can Lucas get back his house, family, and mind? This film actually is not connected at all to the previous House films. It was renamed as House III for the overseas market. This caused the actual makers of the House films to rename their third film as House 4!
