The Horror Vault [Unrated Uncut Special Edition] is a 2008 anthology horror movie directed by David Boone, Josh Card, Russ Diapper, Mark Marchillo, Kenny Selko, Kim Sonderholm, Thomas Steen Sorensen, and J.P Wenner. The film features nine short tales of human cruelty, horror, and dark comedy. The film starts off with fake coming attractions so as to give the film the old fashioned grind-house horror feel. It then delves into each separate story. The short films include 'Alone' which stars Many Amano as the classic sorority girl all alone in a house with a killer on the loose, 'Mental Distortion,' 'When John Met Julia' starring Maja Muhlack and Barbara Zatler as two strangers who meet and run afoul of each other, 'Disconnected,' a bloody and brutal short about torture, 'Dead to the World,' which is an homage to the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy, and 'Delusion,' a Hitchcockian 50s styled short.
