The Hot Angel is a 1958 film that follows the life of Chuck Lawson (Ed Kemmer), a Korean War veteran. After the war, Lawson assumes the responsibility for his deceased war friend's younger siblings. It turns out that one of the siblings, named Joe Wilson (Alan Dinehart III), joins a motorcycle gang. Lawson tries to set the boy on the right path by introducing him to flying. He says that flying an observation plane for a uranium prospector will turn Joe into a respectable young man. Meanwhile, the daughter, Mandy (Jackie Loughery) falls in love with the war veteran Lawson. Will this relationship work out since Mandy is basically a daughter to Lawson? The movie contains plenty of aerial scenes that were performed by Kemmer, a real-life World War II fighter pilot wanting to do his own stunts. Joe Parker directs this high-flying drama about a veteran left to care for two kids.
